How does the custom sofa process work?

Can you build a sofa to fit my exact room or apartment wall?
Yes. Every sofa is built to your exact dimensions — width, depth, seat height, arm height, and back height all specified to your brief. Bring your room measurements to 321 Pier Avenue, Hermosa Beach, or have us meet you at your home. Slight variations may occur due to handmade construction.
What is the smallest and largest sofa you can build?
There is no standard minimum or maximum size. Will the sofa fit through my door, elevator, or building entryway?
The customer is responsible for ensuring accessibility and clearance for deliveries involving elevators, stairs, hallways, and building entryways. In cases where furniture cannot be delivered as-is and requires modification, redelivery fees and modification charges may apply. Belgian linen, performance linen, natural velvet, performance velvet, natural cotton, and woven blends. All upholstery-grade with double rub counts of 30,000–100,000, compliant with California and federal thermal requirements. Every client takes samples home. Made By Inch provides white-glove delivery of custom sofas throughout Los Angeles. The customer is responsible for ensuring accessibility and clearance for deliveries involving elevators, stairs, hallways, and gated entryways. In cases where furniture cannot be delivered as-is and requires modification, redelivery fees and modification charges may apply. All delivery is arranged through Made By Inch's designated delivery company.
Can you deliver to an apartment building with elevator access?
Yes. Made By Inch delivers to apartment buildings throughout Los Angeles — Santa Monica, Marina del Rey, West Hollywood, Silver Lake, and all areas. Warranty & Care
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
Made By Inch provides a lifetime warranty on the frame and craftsmanship of all upholstered pieces — including seams and tufting. The warranty will be considered void if signs of abuse or misuse are identified. There is no warranty on fabric. If you have a warranty claim, contact Made By Inch at (310) 504-0896 or contact@madebyinch.com.
What if there is a problem after delivery?
Report any issues within 5 days of delivery — the pick-up fee is waived and all adjustments will be made at no charge. Issues reported after 5 days incur transportation fees. Contact (310) 504-0896 or contact@madebyinch.com within 5 days. Do not wait.
How do I care for my custom sofa?
All Made By Inch upholstery-grade fabrics comply with California and federal thermal requirements. Down and down alternative fillings require regular fluffing. Depending on fabric content, excessive friction can lead to fiber pilling. There is no warranty provided for fabric.
