Kerri moved from Ireland to Los Angeles in 2011 and has been immersed in the world of custom furniture and interior design ever since. From the bohemian, laid-back energy of Venice to the creative pulse of Culver City, the refined elegance of Beverly Hills, and the urban sophistication of Downtown LA, Kerri has woven her way through some of the city's most distinctive neighborhoods and design communities. Over more than a decade, she has honed her craft, drawn inspiration from LA's endlessly diverse aesthetic landscape, and developed a deeply personal design sensibility — one that beautifully bridges her Irish roots with the bold, sun-soaked spirit of Southern California.
Growing up in a small seaside town on the South East coast of Ireland, Kerri always felt most at home near the water. It's no surprise, then, that when it came time to put down roots of her own, she was drawn to the laid-back, coastal charm of the South Bay. With its sun-drenched beaches, tight-knit community, and relaxed way of life, the area felt like a natural fit — a place that echoed the unhurried rhythms of her childhood while offering a vibrant new backdrop for the life she was building. It's here that Kerri chose to establish her shop, and it's here that she is proudly raising her son, bringing the same warmth, care, and craftsmanship to her community that she brings to every piece she creates.

How much does a custom sofa from Made By Inch cost?
Custom sofas from Made By Inch are competitively priced with premium furniture retailers. Many clients find the cost comparable to or less than a similar piece from RH, the PDC, or equivalent LA showrooms. How long does it take to get a custom sofa?
Most orders are completed in 4 to 6 weeks from order confirmation. Your exact lead time is confirmed in writing when you place your order — not an estimate, a commitment. You receive your delivery date in writing within 24 hours of placing the order, and a confirmation 48 hours before delivery.
Can you build a sofa to fit my specific apartment or room size?
Yes — this is exactly what we do. Every sofa is built to the exact dimensions of your room. Whether you have an 11-foot wall in a Santa Monica apartment, an 8-foot ceiling in a Silver Lake mid-century home, or a 24-foot formal living room in Hancock Park, we build to those specific dimensions. Bring your measurements to the consultation or have us meet you at your home to measure directly.
What fabrics are available? Can I see samples before ordering?
Yes. We can order fabric samples for clients to take home before deciding. Performance linen, performance velvet, natural cotton, and woven blends are all available. We recommend fabrics based on your room's light, daily use, and brief. You live with the samples in your actual home light before committing — no pressure, no deadline on the day of your consultation.
Do you deliver to my neighbourhood? Is delivery included?
Yes and yes. Made By Inch delivers white-glove to all of Los Angeles County — Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice, Marina del Rey, Beverly Hills, Culver City, Silver Lake, Los Feliz, Hancock Park, and every neighbourhood in between. White-glove delivery means the piece is carried to the room, placed in position, and all packaging removed. Delivery is included with every order.
Are your sofas safe — no off-gassing or harmful chemicals?
Yes. We use natural and safe-certified materials throughout — frames that do not off-gas, and fillings that meet California's strict indoor air quality standards. For homes with children or pets, we offer performance fabrics that are durable and easy to clean. A sofa you live on every day should be safe to live on every day.
What does the lifetime warranty cover — and how does it work?
Every Made By Inch sofa carries a lifetime warranty on the frame, the construction, and the workmanship. If a structural issue develops at any point during the life of the piece, we repair or replace it at no cost. The warranty travels with the piece for as long as you own it.
